We’re proud to see this effort highlighted as we continue supporting educators with year-long themes, survivor stories, expert guidance, and a commitment to keeping this history meaningful for new generations.
Holocaust survivor speaks at Temple Beth El
Educators gathered at Temple Beth El in Rochester to mark the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz’s liberation, emphasizing the importance of preserving truth, remembering Holocaust victims, and confronting antisemitism. With survivors like Carl Wetzstein sharing their stories, the Holocaust Education Network works to ensure teachers can continue passing on these lessons as firsthand witnesses become fewer.
